Ravenscoe Trading was formed in 2004 and is a family managed business with a combined total of over 70 years’ experience in the logistics and procurement management industry. The key individuals of Ravenscoe Trading are Donald, Phillip and Wesley Amos.
Our unique procurement process provides our global clients with a one stop solution for all their procurement and logistical needs servicing various industries in particular the Oil, Gas and Mining sectors. We have sourced and have acquired allocations of particular products of African origin, which are ready for global market export. Our procurement process gives us the ability to quote and procure on a wide range of products, from low value consumables to high value products. Whether the mode of transport is road, air or sea freight we are able to provide a logistical solution which suits our clients’ needs.

DONALD AMOS - FOUNDER
Donald Amos started his professional career with Stocks Meat Market a family run business along with his father Benjamin Amos who was the owner of the business at the time in 1981. He developed skills and expertise within the retail, manufacturing and distribution divisions. In doing so Donald established strong and reliable business relationships with global clients and producers in the food industry specifically. In 2004 Donald noticed the need for procurement of products for his clients beyond the products he was currently supplying. This led to the formation of Ravenscoe Trading.
PHILIP AMOS - PARTNER
Philip Amos started his professional career in procurement and logistics management in 1985 with Stocks Meat Market. He became involved in all aspects of the business from financial side to buying and administration. He also undertook all foreign/ import buying for the company. Since 2010 Philip Amos has been a vital member of the Ravenscoe Trading team, providing sound global product knowledge.
WESLEY AMOS - PARTNER
Wesley Amos started his professional career at Stock Meat Market at a young age where his skills developed in the procurement, logistical and retail divisions. Wesley a scholar of economics then pursued a new business venture in the Financial Services industry in 2008, which has since sold his shareholding within. This has given Wesley great insight into the structuring of financial services around our global procurement and logistical supply chain. Wesley then returned to Ravenscoe in early 2014.

OUR NETWORK
Our Global network has been established over 20 years of business by Donald and Philip Amos. Our head offices were established in 2004 in Cape Town, South Africa. This gave us footprint in Africa and has allowed us to develop an expansive network in Africa .We have satellite offices in Africa and Asia and the Americas, where our partners reside. We have local subsidiaries in some of these regions.
More specifically, Luanda Angola, Nacala Mozambique, Pemba Mozambique, Maputo Mozambique, Walvis Bay Namibia, Tema Ghana, Douala Cameroon, Guangzhou China, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France, Germany and Denmark.
